Help me find some good exhaust for that GT mustang I just acquired.
Stock = shit
Need something meaty and can hear a little inside, but not too loud....
Also can it be fairly cheap?

My favorite by far are the GT500 axle backs. Cheap, and have a better sound than any aftermarket ones to my ear. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/M5230MGTC…

Wheels look good.
Try Magnaflow, that's where my dad got his exhaust and they sound wonderful. Quite when you want, loud when you want.

Get these. 3 styles and powdercoated to the color of your choice and really cheap.

My personal favorite is the GT500 exhaust, inexpensive, quiet when you want it to be and plenty loud when you want it to be. My dad has the quad GT500 exhaust on his 14 5.0. I would definitely recommend it. These links are from American Muscle, but look around and you might find them cheaper.

Want something a bit nosier? Get the Boss side exhaust!

I like those rims. 285' out back to, should offer some good traction.

I am heavily considering the BOSS quad exhaust

DO IT!!! But finding axelbacks is a long journey. I'm pretty sure my dad and I saw over hundreds of videos for his 2012! We narrowed it down to Bassani, RTR and GT500's. Then he got the 14 and quad tips it was.

RTR that good?

We really liked them but weren't sold on them because we were afraid of them being to loud. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't but in a neighborhood we didn't want to risk it. You also never see that exhaust on any other Mustang, it would be unique.

That is true and I might of convinced my father to let me take some of my stock money out and get the BOSS Quad Exhaust

Good news! But go youtube and look for the best videos. Most of the time, they do no justice but will give you a rough idea on how they sound.

Ya listened to the BOSS exhaust on a 2011 GT and it sounded good with the stock mufflers

Just make sure you get axle backs down the line, you will not regret it.

Good! Once that mod bug bites you won't be able to stop! I love the white, enjoy the car! Can't wait to see what you have planned for it!

![]() 08/09/2014 at 23:34 |

Sounds nasty, love old school V8's! What did you use to record it?

Believe it or not my iPhone 5s

Alright, I got some suggestions(just one). Muffler delete. Will it be loud? Yes, fairly loud but not crazy loud. Is it cheap? YES!!! Or you can delete the cats, which is even cheaper. Either way, it will sound badass, and be cheap! Since you have a V8 you don't have to worry about rasp!
As for wheels, Apex Racing wheel ! They are priced nicely, durable, light, are made to fit with no mods(check just incase) to the car, and they look awesome

those sound awesome a friend of mine has them along with roush axlebacks.
He told me that with the side exhausts blocked, it is too loud. When he has the side exhausts open its not so loud. It sounds awesome. I recommend.

That came out pretty good for an iPhone. Now I have to figure out how to take a good video.

Here is my walk around video of it. All I used was a Rebel Camera and my trucks bed cover as a tripod

Did you happen to use an external mic? Very clean Torino by the way.
